I started Digital Clicks because too many businesses were being sold digital marketing without getting the expertise, discipline, or accountability they actually needed.

My path into this industry started early.

I was fortunate to be part of one of the first student cohorts in North America to formally study Google Ads and Google Analytics as part of the curriculum at the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business at Fanshawe College. It was not just theory. These courses were built into the Business Administration Marketing program, and upon successful completion we earned accreditation and certification directly through Google.

Even then, it was clear to me that this was not a passing trend. Google Ads was going to become a permanent part of how modern businesses grow. The opportunity was obvious. The gap in the market was too. Businesses needed real expertise, not just access to the platform.

That belief became the foundation for Digital Clicks.


Before I started the agency, I saw firsthand what digital marketing could achieve when executed properly.

At the time, I was working as a Sales and Marketing Manager for an industrial distributor. Our business was limited to a defined local territory, but I had just come out of school eager to apply what I had learned in the real world.

So I built and launched a Google Ads campaign.

That campaign generated more than $1 million in sales.

It worked so well that the flagship manufacturer eventually asked us to shut it down because distributors across the country were taking notice and complaining about the advantage it created.

That was one of the first moments I realized I had a real skill set here. More importantly, it showed me that digital marketing, when executed with precision, could materially change a business's trajectory.


The second turning point came when I pitched my first client.

It was a local credit union that was unhappy with the service they were receiving from their agency. They had reached out through college connections to see whether any graduates could help.

I put together the strategy and pitch. I presented. I won the opportunity.

And in that moment, I knew I could build something real in this industry.

Not only because I loved marketing for its own sake, but because I could already see how many businesses were underserved by firms that were better at selling than delivering.


That is still what frustrates me most about this industry.
