Connecting Your Google Analytics

A step-by-step guide to securely granting Digital Clicks access to your Google Analytics account.

Overview

This guide shows you how to securely connect your Google Analytics account with Digital Clicks so our team can review website performance, track conversions, and improve your marketing reports.

Before you begin, make sure you are signed in with the Google account that owns or manages your Google Analytics property.


Step 1: Sign In to Google Analytics

Go to Google Analytics and sign in using the Google account connected to your business. This is usually the same account used to manage your website analytics, Google Ads, or other Google marketing tools.

Once you are signed in, select the correct Google Analytics account or property for your business.


Step 2: Open the Admin Area

In Google Analytics, click the Admin icon. This usually appears as a gear icon near the bottom left of the screen.

The Admin area is where user access, property settings, data streams, and other analytics settings are managed.


Step 3: Open Account Access Management

In the Admin area, look for Account Access Management. This is where you can add users to the specific Google Analytics property connected to your website.


Step 4: Add Digital Clicks as a User

Click the plus button or Add Users option. Enter the Google account email address provided by your Digital Clicks contact.

Choose the permission level requested by Digital Clicks(In most cases its Administrator). If you are unsure, pause here and ask the Digital Clicks team before saving.

Make sure the email address is entered correctly before continuing.


Step 5: Save and Confirm Access

After the email address and permission level are selected, click Add or Save.

Once access is granted, let your Digital Clicks contact know the setup is complete. Our team will then review the analytics property and confirm that we can access the information needed for reporting and tracking checks.


You Are All Set

Digital Clicks will use this access to review your website data, confirm important events, and support your marketing reports.

If anything needs to be adjusted, our team will follow up with clear next steps.
