This guide shows you how to invite Digital Clicks to your Google Business Profile so our team can help support your local presence on Google Search and Google Maps.


Before You Begin

Make sure you are signed in to the Google Account that currently owns the Business Profile. The source instructions specifically note that the user should be logged into the email that owns the profile,

You will also need the Digital Clicks email address that should receive access. Do not assign Primary Owner access. Choose Manager at minimum, or Owner(Preferred).


Step 1: Open Your Google Business Profile

Locate your profile by searching for your business name on Google Search or by navigating directly to your Business Profile


You will see a menu above the search results labeled "Your business on Google." Click the three dots (⋮) on the right side.


Step 2: Go to People and Access

Inside Business Profile settings, select People and access. This is where you can add users and manage who has access to the profile.


Select Add or the Add user icon. Enter the Admin@digitalclicks.ca email address .


Step 3: Choose the Access Level and Send the Invite

For the Access level, please select at least Manager, though we prefer the Owner level. Please note that you should never grant Primary Owner access; the Primary Owner access should be with only account owner not with digital clicks or any external agency you engage with .



Final Checklist

Before you finish, confirm these items

You are signed in as the profile owner or Primary Owner. The Digital Clicks email address is entered correctly. The access level is Manager at minimum, or Owner(preferably) . Primary Owner is not selected. The Invite button has been clicked.
